Saturday 20th July - Outside the Millennium Hall preparing for camp. The Johnson Security van waiting to be unloaded at Braggers Wood. The Eagle Star Bell Tent was the first to be erected, quickly followed by the rest... ...a trip to Mudeford Beach had been promised.  Sea cold but very welcome.

The communal dining room in Manner Lodge, Braggers Wood Campsite. Home for a week. Enjoying the first breakfast. The busy 'staff'

After a dip in the freezing waters of Hengistbury Head. Sand Castles? - No! A Sand Car complete with pedals. Off to Mudeford on the Hengistbury Head road train. The first boat trip across the 'race' at Mudeford.

A quick run to Christchurch in the minibus, and we had fish and chips. A fabulous swing at Monkey World in Wareham. This swing sure took a load of Cubs & Scouts. The Scout Troop at Monkey World.

Cubs queueing at Burley for their mountain bikes. The start of a 12 mile cycle ride through the beautiful New Forest. A rescue mission - three Cubs and bikes rescued half way round the course. Lunch break on the stump of an old oak tree.

Scouts have breakfast in the communal mess tent. Mrs Harry Potter? No! Just an enterprising Scout with a home-made broom. The Scout Troop this time - setting off from Burley for their 12 mile ride. Mother and daughter grazing on the roadside at Bransgore.
