POLAR CAMP, YOULBURY - JAN 2006
23 Scouts, 9 Explorer Scouts, and 8 Leaders from 15th Cheltenham (SHURDINGTON) Scout Group spent the weekend
of 13th to 15th January 2006 at Youlbury Scout Activity Centre.
Friday was spent in preparation and indoor games. Saturday was a day out in Oxford, Ice Skating, lunch at EAMAYL, 
Laser Quest and shopping in the arcade. A hike ended the evening, which included an excellent campfire held by explorers.
Sunday saw 5 outdoor challenges - Down Memory Lane - Tree recognition and bark rubbing - Blindfold Star of David design
Minefield challenge - Plane crash - And the String Burn Challenge.
A GREAT WEEKEND CAMP
Troop were camped in the HQ Building - Stuffed Penguins Explorers in Brazier hut.
