NARROWBOAT EXPERIENCE
SPIRIT OF 57
A seed of a remark to 'treat our PLs and APLs', took root and 9 Scouts and 2 Leaders, Louise and Paul, spent a fabulous weekend on 3rd to 5th October 2003 plying up a down the Grand Union Canal. The narrowboat 'Spirit of 57' was hired from Hillingdon Narrowboats Association. One of it's instructors Paul Huntley accompanied us, together with his son David; both belong to the Scout Movement.
