BEAVER SLEEPOVER NO.3 SHURDINGTON - SEPTEMBER 2008
~ WITH A RED INDIAN THEME ~

Friday 12th to
Saturday 13th September 2008
An excellent indoor camp for 12
Beavers organised by S/L Louise Slee,
with the help of Young Leaders, Explorers and helpers Kate, Anthony,
Charlotte, Alice, Charlie, Matt, Tom and Lucie Mitchell.
Friday they had fun and games, pitched
their tents indoors, made feathered head-dresses and drums, and watched a
video.
Sadly because of pouring rain their campfire was postponed to Saturday.
Saturday after a short night, they had
breakfast, built a campfire and successfully sent smoke signals,
(apologies for all the Red Indians on
horseback charging down the A46 ! - apparently it was a signal for HELP...)
built and fired bows and arrows, and decorated a tepee the adults made
earlier, with hand and foot prints.
Well done on a very successful Sleepover.
