| BEAVER SLEEPOVER No.2 SHURDINGTON - MAY 2008 Friday 23rd to Saturday 24th May 2008 An excellent indoor camp for 6 Beavers organised by S/L Louise Slee, with the help of Young Leaders and Explorers Kate, Anthony, Alice, Charlie, the two Matts, and helpers Tom and Lucie Mitchell. Friday they had fun and games, a campfire, and investiture, painted their t-shirts, baked delicious cakes and watched a video. Saturday after a quiet night, they had breakfast, decorated their cakes, and raised some £80 for the China/Burma Relief fund by having a coffee morning and selling their cakes to visitors. Well done Beavers. Thanks to several other donations this has now risen to £160. Special thanks to PCSO Liz Dean for her interest and care, and those who came to our coffee morning.
